Aarktica’s audio explorations span decades and include a wide-range of styles, straddling shoegaze and ambient, electronic and drone, and most recently immersed in deep, meditative sounds for cosmic journeys.

A dreamy, sonically rich ambient album. This album builds upon the music of past Aarktica albums (think swells, drones, and loops from the guitar) and adds cello and more to create a standout album. Just beautiful. I've already listened a few times through, and the layers of sound are vast. I find something new each listen.

Have you ever stood mesmerized in the sunlight, almost as if you can feel its individual particles raining warm blessings down upon your upturned face? Deserving or not, each of us can receive precious gifts like these across any moment of any day if we open ourselves to them. Even in darkened places one can find a smile hidden amidst the tears. That’s how listening to these richly textured, carefully layered compositions makes me feel.

This is a perfect collaboration between two of the best synth wave artists of our time. If you take the best Eno album and put it up against Eating Rose Petals, you would be hard pressed to choose one over the other. Beautiful sounds that send you to a calm center. Something we all need right now!

Amazing album from Eluvium - so many really beautiful, haunting compositions it's difficult to choose a favorite. Depends on my mood - today it is "Rorschach Pavan". I won't presume to know the artists intent, but for me the album is a perfect balance of the cerebral and the sublime! Thank you MRC for this amazing work!
